Beauty For Ashes is a Christian ministry, founded by LaKeisha Rainey-Collins, called to help women discover wholeness and healing through the perfect love of our Heavenly Father.   It’s a ministry where messages of hope, love, redemption, and grace will be shared as a means of encouraging women from all walks in believing that, despite the roughness, ugliness, and harshness of life, there’s still beauty within them just waiting to be unveiled.

• Our Inspiration - “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.”  ~Isaiah 61:1-3~

MEET THE FOUNDER

LaKeisha Rainey-Collins, is the Author of Beautiful Me: 21 Days to Embracing Your Beauty Within, and owner of LRC Editing, a Christian writing business specializing in proofreading, editing, ghostwriting, copywriting, and transcription services geared towards helping small business owners, self-published authors, non-profit and ministry leaders, and individuals reach their writing goals.

LaKeisha enjoys sharing encouraging messages with everyday women. She has weathered many storms throughout her life – molestation, abandonment, low self-esteem, sexual immorality, addiction, and depression – but by the grace of God, has come through every struggle victoriously.  She passionately loves and lives for Jesus Christ, and desires to share His love with women across the world.  LaKeisha has a heart for inspiring hope into the lives of women who feel hopeless and helpless, and she transparently uses her life as a means of shedding light in the dark places of women’s hearts.  

It is her prayer that women everywhere come to know how deeply The Heavenly Father loves them, and discover their true beauty, worth, value, identity, and purpose in Him.
